Purpose-Built Spaces for Education & Events
In collaboration with Bryandale Primary School directors, The Knowledge Base initially provided a design and technology laboratory, a computer classroom, a music classroom, and an auditorium/amphitheater. Witnessing the growing needs of the school and the wider community, we expanded in 2018 to include eight modern, world-class classrooms.
Revolutionizing Education Since 2000
Established in 2000, The Knowledge Base is a Non-Profit organization born out of a vision to revolutionize education. Independently managed yet intricately linked with Bryandale Primary School, our mission is to introduce and enhance STEM subjects, weaving innovation into the fabric of the curriculum.
Our Journey
Our journey began with two residential properties, strategically positioned near the Bryandale Primary School campus. Over the years, we’ve evolved into a beacon of educational excellence, not just for the school but for the entire community. We respond to calls from the Department of Education to incorporate more Design and Technology subjects and teaching, setting the stage for a groundbreaking educational experience.
Community Impact
The Knowledge Base isn’t just an extension of Bryandale Primary School; it’s a community center, a “Best of Joburg” school, and a hub for innovation. We are dedicated to fostering a learning environment that embraces cutting-edge technology and creativity, preparing students and the community for the future.
Facilities Available For Hire
As much as our facilities are used by Bryandale Primary School during a typical school day/week/term, we encourage outside users to enquire about using our facilities.
The use of our world-class facilities includes:
Set-up of the space before you arrive.
Break-down of the space after your event
Cleaning of the rented space and common area spaces before and after your event.
Secure off-street parking
Physical manned security can be arranged (for users account)
Catering can be arranged (for users account)
